Construction of tourist infrastructure by the Alaverdi Cultural Heritage Monument was carried out by the order of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, within the framework of the Kakheti Regional Development Project. As part of the project, the ″ Matsvis Sakhli ″ was built and equipped, located adjacent to the Alaverdi Monastery, towards Tusheti Protected Areas. The project was implemented with World Bank (WB) financial support.
