Integrated revitalization of CH sites in Dzveli Shuamta, Akhali Shuamta, and Ikalto and the Preservation work of Ikalto Church- Phase 2 was carried out by the order of the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, within the framework of the Regional Development Project Georgia. The project envisages water supply to all of the three infrastructural buildings, as well as the arrangement of the well, potable water reservoir, and biological wastewater treatment plant. The project was implemented with World Bank (WB) financial support.
Ikalto
Restoration-rehabilitation of the small Basilica-type church Completion of construction works for the newly arranged unfinished infrastructural building by the Ikalto monastery complex. The noted building is a souvenir shop and public toilet.
Shuamta
Reorganization of paths arranged in the Dzveli Shuamta monastery complex yard, and adjustment of the terraced landscape. Construction of a small motor road in the monastery area.
“Sainformatsio Karibche” center
Completion of infrastructural building and its functional equipment. The mentioned building is belvedere and the public toilet
“Akhali Shuamta”
